Thanks for the feedback. I considered that type of pool as I’ve been in both types.
Just wanted to keep the picks and engagement coming each week as there isn’t much else going on at this time of year.
Also with a limited number of people (less than 20) you could easily have 12 people essentially out in week 1 after losing 3 games vs a pool of 100 where more people are alive. Typically those types of pools work well for large groups.
Thanks for the input. It’s true that with smaller numbers, people can lose interest right away if a bunch of people are out after week 1 (I might be one of them, lol).
Here’s my picks:
LA
Chicago
Jacksonville
Philadelphia
LA (tough one - guessing Maye is going to turn the ball over and that’ll be the difference in this game)
Houston
AFC Champ: Houston
NFC Champ: Chicago
Superbowl Winner: Chicago
Hard to pick two wildcard weekend teams to make the SB but I don’t like Seattle or Denver going far. We’ll see.

Indeed you are correct, though all the same, we are perhaps dealing with a mysterious evolution now after discovery of an Overgrown Beaver in the wild of Manitoba, Canada, which was thought to be an extinct species.
Many experts believe this specimen to be a remnant evolution and descendant of the Giant Beavers the size of small bears, who once roamed North America.
Now for the first time, we are able to observe him further in his native habitat.
Though the specimen has not been observed to take flight, early reports indicate that this specimen has sprouted small wings, which calls into question if wings are an ancient remnant trait or an evolutionary trait.

I forgot how the NFL playoffs work for a minute when making my picks and didn’t realize Seattle can also win the NFC. I would like to change my NFC winner pick to , keeping all other picks the same.
Same here, I had to go on injured reserve, for there was too much going on as I started a new job too that’s going well, plus as some observed , I was missing a sail or two on the high seas on a few days, plus this was all during the Unrest of ‘25 as well a few weeks ago. I understand.
But now in a twist of fate, truth stranger than fiction, I’ve been basically dispatched by Captain Timbers for Captain Training as the Captain of a small crew of 8 on each shift, where on any given day I play a role according to an imitation of a Hollywood script. More later about that.
Now please don’t anybody here panic and report the matter to government officials and please, c’mon, don’t call the police, for we only started sailing the high seas on our smaller ship.
I’m going to have more fun enjoying the second weekend of games, the best weekend in the NFL in my view, so there’s that upside as well.
