Ay, itās rougher times this winter though many of you in Canada and in Chicago and nearby are no strangers to such winters (as we were not in Philadelphia, but for the shorter pandemic winter in 2020 to 2021, through 2018!), but as we are playing by strict rules, in full disclosure, guess what I am doing today?

My car battery died, and help is delayed! At least I am at home instead of stuck somewhere.

Think it was minus 51 last night here.
My car started fine
.. block heater plugged in. Remote Started the car twice a day even though I did not go anywhere.
Made a huge pot of beef stew
The other day before the cold snap. Been reading a good book and drinking an occasional good single malt waiting for kick off Sunday to happen

I made the mistake of having my car plugged into an intermittent timer which didnāt keep my car warm enough through the night. It was -46 windchill but cars donāt care anout windchill. Actual temperature was -32Ā°C or -25Ā°F for those south of us.
