Perhaps an evaluation of each team for the past year would make some good reading? Trials and tribulations, successes and failures over the past season. The standings mean much less without proper context.
Since somebody started a year in review thread, exactly what i was after, perhaps somebody can merge the two threads.
Hope they don’t focus too much on injuries with the exception of how well the clubs prepared for that eventuality. For example the Riders did a really poor job with DB depth for half a season. With either or both of Sayles and Campbell out of the lineup they were a .200 club. They never lost a game with both playing last season.
Somebody mentioned at the old site that the CFL’s top ten plays list on X had a couple long kick returns out of the endzone before it was removed. The new top ten list on CFL.ca doesn’t lol. The PR department seems to have worked through the holidays 
They could have worked WITH our contributions and those of other loyal fans, and especially the expertise of @GridironGirl , but they chose to alienate more fans.
Sorry, no sympathy or wondering from me at all, for they wilfully and deliberately made the bed they sleep in now.
Those bojacks and bojills now have to fix their digital media strategy from less now on their own, or they can keep going up shit creek into the shit-bin at this rate.
CFL has a website? 
I haven’t been to it since the forum moved. I’ll probably be sucked back into their awful articles once the season starts again.
It doesn’t really seem like Kristina Costabile, senior director, web and digital marketing has much of a leash to work with.
Basically the articles year in and year out are the same and she’s likely been told that status quo is OK. When she called out Chad Kelly for attending Argos practice last year, no one at CFL stood up for her. The commish has told non-affiliated reporters that the website and the updating of real-time stats are POS.
I haven’t honestly visited the website recently except to look up the schedule for the upcoming pool and FA player stats, which I could have done at footballdb if I wanted a different source. I likely won’t venture there except for tracking “expert” picks.
3DN and Reddit have proven to be much better sources of info for me, which is frankly sad because the CFL really should be at the forefront of most news, commentary, and personal interest stories.
As much as I appreciate Bardown’s efforts, I’m not going out of my way to watch a CFL Wired segment that should be on the CFL website.
You know what I miss? Marshall Ferguson’s weekly QB breakdowns. Maybe they should try and promote some guest writers like @BetweenTheGoalposts for ST reports too.
PFF numbers are unfortunately too vague to mean anything and they purposefully avoid transparency in fear that someone else will replicate the formula, which isn’t fair for the fans.

Web page is keeping transactions up to date. Appreciate that as it seems to be about the only place where you can see what all the teams are up to. 2026 only however.
So how do you like the new look football? 
Maybe the CFL will send its own site to the shit-bin as well this winter and overhaul it finally for the better.
Isn’t that the plan? Thought Stew said it was all getting an overhaul along with CFL+.
Did find quite a few mistakes in the stats section last year while trying to do defense rankings. Often had to compare their posted league stats with their posted team and individual stats to get a handle on what was what. They didn’t always line up untill a couple weeks later. It does seem to be improving year over year however.
I wanted to give an update with UFL social media followers as a point of discussion. Also…here are the other teams in the CFL compliments if CFLStatsGeek at Reddit.

My assumption here is that UFL is doing a better job at connecting with fans of players coming out of NCAA, who tend to have a much more diverse demographic of college students and alma maters.
Any folks going to the Game Zone are going to be disappointed soon, given that the old Forum link is also still there, when they blow up that place and overhaul the site.
Frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if the gamezone is overhauled the day after the season starts.
