JJ seemed to be the OC that best knew how to Tre Ford. I was sad when he left Edmonton. I’d fool around and try to start Ford to Calgary rumors but media personality Eddie Steele up here in Edmonton pretty directly insinuated Ford only does what’s best for Ford.
Last season when I thought Ford was leaving I was hoping VA3 would come to Edmonton. I still wish that’s how things had played out.

I really like Jarious Jackson as well. This is a great addition for Calgary. Dave Dickenson sounded very grateful to have someone with Jarious Jackson’s experience. I had hoped the EE would bring him back as OC/Assistant Head Coach. He could have been a great help to Kilam who I feel needs a much stronger assistant like Jarious Jackson.
As for Tre Ford to the Stampeders maybe that is an option regardless of what Eddie Steele is saying. Jarious did seem to start playing Tre Ford once Chris Jones was fired and Tre Ford was successful with him. Chris Jones and Geroy Simon brought in MBT so whether Jarious had much to do with situation I don’t know. So it may or may not even be possibility that Tre Ford signs with the Stamps. Stranger things have happened in the CFL. Has PJ Walker recovered well from his broken arm? He didn’t seem to have the greatest debut in the CFL so perhaps it’s possible they are looking to bring in another back up.

One thing I will say, the reason for the Stamps demise in 2025 WAS NOT ON THE QB.
Injuries decimated the team going into the final games and playoff game.
This team will show up in 2026.

Would like to say this a harbinger of what is to come as in a dumpster fire season… But damn if it don’t mean the stamps are gonna be hot.
I can only hope the Riders and the Lions gonna be hotter

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Stampeders have another good year. They sure bounced back last season with that very fast start. Unfortunately, for their team they had some late season injuries.

Key personnel injuries can really tank a season … The only fans who don’t see that are the fans who hate a particular team.
I’m hoping for a good season of football where all the teams play well. I don’t mind some close scoring games. Even with a rival team.
