For Week 2 and for Week 3, television ratings are going to be rough I figure, given religious holidays, spring break, and the Masters.
Now strangely this weekend, it starts normally with a game on Friday night and a game on Saturday night, but only Friday night is on Fox.
Then on Sunday in Houston is a game at noon that is relegated to ESPN2. That one should be a solid eyesore.
Then strangest of all, there is a game on Tuesday night on Dogshit Sports, which has the makings of a visual abomination in Dallas.
Stick with the first two games in Columbus and in Orlando.

The Houston game is actually 6pm on NFLN. Easter Sunday in Houston may be rough but with a later start and Ludacris as halftime performer there’s a chance, albeit small, it cracks 10k. The Tuesday night game is trying to pick up the leftover crowd from the NCAA basketball championship the night before. If 100k extra people flew into Dallas maybe 5% might be inclined to give the UFL a look was management’s thought process.

There’s a channel by a guy named Isaac about the kicking game in the NFL that is too much like so many independent channels on YouTube that have some good content, but the creators ruin them with theatrics.

We’re waiting for the Texas showdown to come in. I’ve seen 2 reports for Friday night thus far. 660k which is a drop of ~5% from last year home opener. Of course the caveat being the Stallions were going up directly against Alabama basketball in the NCAA tourney. Another reputable site shows 800k viewers.

Fs1 is Fox’s sports station, home to MLB, Nascar, and college sports.
Ratings may be tougher to come by with Mike Mitchell stepping away from football reporting due to private matters. He was the goto guy not only for unbiased spring football news but also a longtime NFL reporter. With that said, I’m seeing 800k for Fox Friday night, an improvement of 110k over last years week 1 opener. When all is said and done week 1 Ratings look to be up 15-20%.
