It’s the standard TV demographic of men 40 plus who watch live sports on a big screen TV.
It’s our dominant new CFL Forum demographic too.
But they are going for the younger crowd with ads for Taco Bell.
I have T-Mobile for my internet and phones and Progressive for my casualty insurance, but otherwise I can’t think of one of these other ads that appeals to me.
He was 3-7 in 2022 in the UFL… not sure why they brought him back. Perhaps the good coaches didn’t want to tarnish their name and stayed away from that dumpster fire.
DC deserved to lose today playing as undisciplined as they did. Over 35k tickets sold in St Louis with just Over 31k in the stands, outdrawing the Cardnials 25k at the same time.
Houston with Dekkers at QB can be a .500 team. Without him, they win 1 game. Austin Reed looked like a men among boys out there and could see him fighting for the QB3 spot in Chicago again next season. The crowd, while lackluster looked amd sounded better than anything in Arlington last season. 6,500 in an 11k seat soccer stadium still presents better than 9k in a 30k seat baseball stadium.
Blue Jays baseball took priority for me so I missed all 3 UFL games this weekend, but would like to watch Sunday evening’s game and I don’t have access to ESPN.
I’ve had them for two years for my insurance now. But after my rates went up again on my last renewal, well I am going to have to shop around in August.
This is simply how it has gone with auto insurance in the US now since at least 2017 for most people.
Your car ages and depreciates, but magically somehow those insurance rates keep going up, and it’s probably to pay for that damn Flo and her friends and their dumbass ads too.
8800 tickets were distributed with the drop count likely around 6-6.5k in the 11k seats theyre currently using. Renovations are under way for the stadium and their main tenant, FC Dallas has struggled attendance wise in Frisco for years. The two Texas teams will be the weaklings this year but Repole is going to need time for his spring football vision to come to fruition. If they’re drawing these crowds in 2028 then I’ll start to worry.
I’d say it’s time to pack up and leave in 2027 at this rate in Dallas, and we shall see for Houston with its new venue, but the media partners are already seeing some of their writing on the wall.
Even so, I don’t think the league will leave Texas all-around because its headquarters is in nearby Arlington, so on they will press with that site in Frisco and damn more shitty attendance in 2026.
Dallas-Fort Worth is a healthy and growing metro area of late, in hyper-growth this decade since the pandemic like Florida in fact, so they can’t blame local demographics or the local economy for lack of marketing success.
Frisco is out in the middle of nowhere. FC Dallas is a basement dweller franchise attendance wise too and their fan base would almost prefer to go back to the Cotton Bowl, even with the massive 85k seats. I dont see any relocation next year but if there were perhaps its Houston to Austin.
seriously they were lucky if there were 100 people at the Gamblers vs Renegades game. the camera panned over the crowd and it was tiny and only on one side of field. the end zone seats were virtually empty.
was still fun to watch Reed dissect the inept Redblacks Gamblers defence.
