Soā¦I was listening to the 4th quarter in bed, waiting for the end so I could go to sleep.
Then it got CRAZY!!! I got out of bed and watched the end.
Now I wonāt be able to sleep for hours.
Iām going to listen to local sports talk to hear a thousand callers call in to say BEAR DOWN!

Brady was commenting about this, bear with me I know, that the guy receiving the snap was quite short, so it was snapped at quarterback height, but it still looked rather high as if for a 6-4 or taller quarterback to me unless he had some solid hops.
Who knows if they practiced that one more than twice.
Youāre doing it wrong. The key is to tune out until the fourth quarter, preferably late, and then start watching. I even fell asleep in the fourth quarter during that snoozer, and then when I got up, I could not believe what I was watching after seeing the 51-yard field goal in those conditions by Santos to make it Packers 16 Bears 6.

Two late comebacks, both going into overtime, in the span of three days in the NFL to make major history - somethingās in the air and in the water folks!
With a little luck the Packers will miss the playoffs, nice.

Malik Willis indeed can sling it as we saw in the second half and overtime last night, but an offense based more on read-option and a lot of rushing, as ran the Packers with as many rushing yards as passing yards last night, 192 each, is not going to cut it in the modern NFL, especially once teams review that video from last night.
This would have been true even had the Packers won, and Willis himself was almost injured in overtime, which is what happens to read-option heavy quarterbacks and why read-option for a base or dominant set has been a thing of the past since they changed the associated rules for the 2013 season.
Either the Packers have to add to Willisā playbook to adjust so that he simply rolls out more to throw, for he does have the ability and skills no doubt, or the defenses no doubt will gang up on him and his offense to clobber those Packers, possibly knocking Willis out of the game too.

What a contrast to Thanksgiving Day 2024, and perhaps an absolution of that football sin as well, when these Bears ran their 2-minute drill in such perfect fashion but in the wrong direction, so as to run out the clock on themselves!

Unable to watch my Cowboys lose again. In my area itās Tampa/Carolina, Viqueens/Giants or Bills/Browns. Damn Viqueens playing limits my options as always
Watching the Panthers score an unlikely TD with 7 seconds left in the first half to go up 13-10. Probably the most meaningful game of the day as the loser will likely miss the playoffs with the winner getting a freebie spot for winning the division. Iām not a fan of either team though itās ok I guess to watch a Carolina team I have never watched since they contended about 10 years ago. I half expected Cam Newton to start.

Each team has scored a second half TD and Carolina now up 20-17 through three quarters. A pretty good game.

They have been for a few weeks.
Looks like we are in for a good ending in Raleigh with Carolina threatening at almost the 2 minute warning in a tie game.
Panthers up 23-20 with just over two minutes left.

And Mayfield, who threw for under 150 yards today, throws a bad IT with less than a minute left and Carolina wins 23-20 and moves into first. Good game.
