Nice post, I would like to see some of our universities competing in D1 south of the border, Im not saying th Big Ones, but Carabins or Laval could play in the MAC
I’m okay with what we have to a certain extent but I wouldn’t mind seeing more exhibition in the spring. 4 games should be enough in May. If a Carabin team went 0-4 against MAC division opponents they would try for a lower level of opponent next year. if they went 4-0, they would go for a higher level etc.
Exactly! Something like the rugby game between McGill and Harvard. Unfortunately, everything is about money now, and without a sponsor it’s difficult to see something like that happening, but even at the government level something could be done, for example, the Varnier team could play an exhibition game against the MAC or D2 champions.
