As quarterback pipelines go, ours is surprisingly stuffed:
I do hope Arnie finds his way over here. I liked his timely posting of depth charts.

Let me guess?
Brady Oliviera the dog lover
Friend of all dogs, Great and Small
Nudge nudge wink wink.
Hopefully the contract is offset with the non-cap applicable marketing money. 3yrs $900K is a steep price to pay for an RB, pawsome as he is.
Someone get Brady on this forum to gain fans!
Yeah, as much as i love Brady the Bombers hopefully work a contract that isn’t entirely cap applicable as you say $300 a yr is too much.
Has anybody checked in with Lyle “Rasputin” The Sceptic?
I think it’s healthy to have at least one sceptic in the room in general, but I digress, it’s your team room.
But he was a passionate fan you know, and Captain Timbers and the entire crew did like him too, including even Pirate Cat!
Aye keep searching for him folks. May Lyle find his way between kosher pickle jars, a favourite treat he stated that he enjoys as well, much as do I here in Philadelphia.
Random quotes heard aboard today, when we took on some heavy water but sailed through:
“Aye Paolo matey he be missin’ a sail yonder day, but he be a fine salty lad for these waters too you know. We watch.”
“Meow. Meow. Meowwwwww.”
“…’tis a sage who be saucy yar Bombers in our midst yonder day. ‘Tis time to hear yar wind and read the high seas ye matey.”
“Don’t bother me with that shit now Paolo. Go find him.”
Alright, that’s enough, keep us posted all.
Great news about Kramdi. Plus, he can also drive the bus.
Thrilled that #20 re-upped for $300k - a bit overpay imho but thats the CFL reality.
That said, I don’t think Brady and his Legion of Dawgs made the right move. Money-wise? OK, not a problem. Team-wise? Big Problemo!
Yep, Mountain Man and Sheep-Herder Walters are back on board but so what. Its basically gonna be the same ol, same ol s on the stick in ‘26. A depleted and exhausted Zach under centre (who knows how many games he lasts before playing hero and getting TKOd into the twilight zone). An o-line that should have a SWiss cheese named for it. . . . a d-line with lots of personality but short on amplification. A defensive alignment thats Top 4 in CFL but gives up far too much yardage and T.O.P. (time of possess) plus some brutal question marks at the OC slot. Obviously, they know Jason Hogan isn’t the answer but then again, not really much to choose from in Darwin’s waiting room. O’Shea can’t take the OC headset, he’d be even worse than Hogan - Condell has a sketchy CFL history.
If they can cajole Pauly Plops (Lapolice) from his high-paying job as touch football boy, that would be the answer. Plop has never been a head coach, should never be again but he’s one of the greatest offensive minds in CFL history. BRING PLOP BACK should be the Bomber refrain. BRING PLOP BACK.
Obviously lots of heebie-jeebies about #2, #3, #4 QB. Streveler will try to make it back for another campaign, don’t know about Terry Tutu. Elgeresma & Perkins in the bullpen awaiting further instructions.
While the Bombers have a decent defense to keep games close - that D-line is vastly under-powered. Like I say, lots of live wires and personalities (Willy J, Old Jake, etc.) but none of them inspire fear in opposition offenses. Thats a big problem heading into 2026 - and much of the reason I think Brady O made the wrong play - his chances of winning another Cup minimal, at best.
It would appear that he has returned with an alter-ego….Nasty Nate.
Debbie Downer was taken apparently.
@Nasty-Nate has a point though.
While every team but ours has filled out their managerial and coaching ranks at lightning speed, we’re right where we were last year at this time with O’Shea in no hurry to make a decision on who he’s going to pick to replace Buck Pierce.
Last season as we approached spring Yukon Cornelius ran out of time and promoted an assistant coach to the position of OC and just like that… none of our players were up to speed on our newly appointed OC’s strategy (if there was any) going into training camp. Much unnecessary chaos ensued.
Fast forward to today and we STILL don’t have any new OC prospect(s) in the cue waiting to be interviewed.
If the winter flies by and O’Shea runs out of time like he did last year, will he be forced to promote from within AGAIN and elevate the ball boy to OC? Or will he try to repurpose Jason Hogan as a drink holder? Enquiring minds want to know.
