for whatever. I will be cheering for teams in the following order
AFC - Bills, Chargers, Texans, Broncos, and Jags.
NFC - Rams, Bears, Eagles, Packers, and Panthers.
If I had to cheer for the other 4 - 49ers,….. naah, just cant do the rest

Aside from the Bears, I root for the teams who have never won or been to a Super Bowl before.
Oh well, it’s definitely Friday. Carry on and enjoy the weekend. I’m stuck with work all weekend, but I will catch the games on Saturday and later on Sunday night and Monday night. But I get a three-day weekend next weekend in exchange, so I will take it.
nfl.com prediction of wildcard scores and second round percentages:
Oh I like the look of all this, but I don’t think there will not be at least one, usually two games, in which one team pooped the bed and it’s not close.
We’ll find out what it’s like for the Rams now on their return trip to Charlotte, NC, when last time I think they took the Panthers for granted so as to poop the bed to lose.
I think that game was one of the few upsets that I picked correctly in our annual contest.
But it will be the Rams this time.
History was made in Chicago last night too! That’s quite the stat after 93 years!
Less impressive when you realize they seldom make the playoffs, let alone are competitive in them.
am I reading this right?
games being played at same time both days??

this past weekend, first games started at 10am and last ones finished at 8pm
It appears they are still scheming on all four games for this weekend, instead of on only two games as presented by NBC after the game last night.
So much is dependent on whether or not these Steelers win tonight.
NBC had reported that the Bills at Denver and the 49ers at Seattle would play on Saturday, with the time of each start yet to be determined, but it appears this morning that the NFL is still in deliberation on this front.
But I would not be surprised if they simply go with those two games on Saturday, with the massive media market matchup Rams at Chicago on Sunday, which generally draws more fans than if scheduled on Saturday.
Past NFL media precedent has been to schedule the bigger games as the second games on the weekend, but if the Steelers win, the NFL might opt to have their next game on Sunday late and have the game in Chicago on Saturday night, for these two would be the likely biggest draws for ratings. Or perhaps they’ll do the opposite for these two games.
If the Texans win though, I think the media will go according to script and definitely have their next game as one of the first games played, possibly even screwing the Texans over to play on a short break and first on Saturday, which is generally the lowest-rated time slot of the four slots.
SF playing Saturday is a joke.
The Bears and Rams played Saturday, and they get to play Sunday.
The Seahawks coming off a bye are fine. But SF gets a short week.
yea that makes no sense to me. i wonder what the rationale was? ![]()
So far, the bookies must have made a killing. Only two teams with preferred odds makes it out and only one beat the spread.
This along with the O/U getting obliterated with 3 overs and one substantially under
One more reason why I do not bet.![]()
So down in Philly, curious, are they ok with Sirianni remaining HC next season?
SUCKAHS!

The gambling ads are so obnoxious any more in the US, now catering to new dupes more than gambling addicts, including the promotion especially of “branded parlays,” which I feel should be illegal all the same rather than simply promotion of betting in general. Steering to certain bets should be illegal and is I do believe in some states, but not in all.
I’m not so sure. Some of the quick local word, and this was before I saw the highlights, is that the offensive coordinator needs to go.
There is also no fan debate on ditching the kicker, Jake Elliott, but it’s also some financial matter.
Some locals argue already for more on defense, and sure improvement is of course always the objective, including I think in the secondary.
I disagree otherwise and believe that the higher priority is the passing game, for with a far better and consistent passing game, Saquon and that line with Lane Johnson back could shine anew. Lane Johnson turns 36 in May, but we have to see if he’s healthy enough to perform near his high prime of late, for even that would be good enough with the other improvements.
They’re trying to turn the dupes into addicts.
There should be no second guessing about the fate of Petullo. He should be clearing out his locker today and get ready to coach High School football.
How does this offense (same players) go from near the top down to the basement in one year, with the change being in OC?
4th down and 11. Season on the line, calling a T.O. to draw up a play where a pass down the middle with not one, not two but three Niner defenders in the area. Are you kidding me??!!
A high school coach could come up with a better play.
Hurts strength is not as a pocket passer. He rarely used his legs all season. Last night was no different.
Then you have the side show Brown and his cry baby attitude. Think he has ran out his stay.
Finally, HC Sirianni who appointed his buddy Petullo to OC and keeping him there all season long.
Sirianni and his antics are wearing thin (for me anyway).
I would be having a good long sit down with him today.
