As stolen from @Grover , after all the drama this weekend, here we are now!
Perhaps we’ll have a different game watch thread?
The NFC situation is all the Eagles’ damn fault because they pooped the bed to lose late in the game, but enough of that.
True story - so my local cousins of course are fans of the Eagles. THEIR direct cousins, also related to me just the same and my cousins though I have never met them yet, live in the San Francisco Bay Area and are …fans of the ‘49ers.
It’s a family feud this week like the last time this happened in that awful NFC Championship game with Christian McCaffrey left to play some quarterback, so they are bringing me in as part of their re-inforcements for battle!
And I only now checked the TV schedule, and oh well, I will have to miss the Eagles’ game at work for my first full shift on a Sunday at my new job, but who knows, they might set up a TV for it.
We have many friends and resources at Pirate Sports Network and via my Great Uncle Ernesto Blofeld, as you know.
No matter on the untimely scheduling for me on Sunday, duty calls, for I am now on a Mission from God this week with responsibilities to the aforementioned Family Feud. It’s way better than that stupid show and it involves a lot of great food and drink too, but I digress.
Playoff games on Amazon Prime is some BULLSHIT.
At least I will catch both games on Saturday plus most of both night games after I return home from work.
The Bills ought to mop up Jacksonville in the least desirable slot on Sunday afternoon, but the Bills have been known to get in their own way.
I just found out some important news as our Family Feud is in progress.
Hey there @Crash you ‘49ers rascal since …1849, right? , Big Dom says he wants to have more than words with you now at the game here in Philadelphia on Sunday, and this time the GLOVES STAY OFF!
In related news, we are working at sneaking in video at work.
It has to happen because we are on a Mission from God.
When it comes to reproduction or playoff football, nature will find a way… much like the mighty (horny) salmon swimming up a waterfall to spawn and then die after watching NFL Playoffs on a big 4K TV that they snuck into the stream.
Swim forth with your television tuned to a high def channel (against all odds) good Sir Fish.
Well that’s some BULLSHIT for Canadian viewers. And Netflix and Peacock have zero business any more to cover the NFL the way those shitty productions are done.
In light of the circumstances, Pirate Sports Network will stand ready for assistance on Saturday and in the second half for the night games.
Some of the information is misleading and is not accurate for the US.
Perhaps the author’s intent and glaring omission is that this list could be for those audiences who are streaming only who are not watching via a regular TV, but even then some of the data are incorrect.
Reality is that all games are FREE in the US on over-the-air TV except again on Saturday night stuck on Amazon Prime.
For those streaming, one of the options is also listed as free, which is the game on CBS which will be free on one of the CBS websites plus also perhaps Paramount+.
Fubo, which is now owned by Disney / ABC, has the streaming rights to the games on Fox, but in past experience, often those games are also free on the Fox website.
As stated above of course, any gaps can be filled on the high seas.
It’s the other way around - the games are FREE over-the-air, and THEN available on streaming via various options, but the actual list for streaming does not match the list in that tweet at all, plus there are also unlisted options other than Pirate Sports Network.
All games are FREE over-the-air except for Saturday night on Amazon Prime.
With regards to streamers other than Pirate Sports Network, the game on CBS is listed as also free, and the games on Fox are often free, via their websites as well.
It’s been this way on playoff weekends ever since Amazon Prime had the rights to a game, except I do remember they did have one game unwisely on only Peacock in a past season.
Also in local markets to the teams whether a game is streaming-only or not, the game is simulcast FREE over-the-air as well.
Only the Amazon game is NOT free at all, except of course as noted for local markets, so that is correct. And except for Pirate Sports Network, of course.
Those damn Bills should be the heavier favourite instead of practically a push, and that game in Jacksonville does have the makings of a shootout, so I think it simply comes down again to Josh Allen either having a great game or not so as to determine in large part the ultimate winner.
