Too much smoke to be a west coast football. Would look good under black lights mind you!
I made this comment a couple of years ago but I’ll say it again here. They should make the ball slightly smaller and slightly narrower. I think that would make it easier to throw and get more zip and distance. They’d all have “NFL arms" at that point and the offenses might be more efficient and productive overall across the league. No?
I’ll show myself out now…
Instead of 75mph they’d be tossing it 85+ Lots of broken fingers and long injury lists i think.
they could use frisbees
LOL But I kind of agree on get rid of the ratio, but would modify it to keeping the same roster numbers and let the Coaches decide on who starts. Would still have at least 4 Canadian starters and most likely more at times. I’ve been on my soap box about that for years.
Got to keep Proulx around incase Quebec gets a team.
they really should start the season earlier
I don’t see the appeal in making the CFL like every failed league the US has ever spawned.
Have you heard back yet?
I don’t think this is a good idea, Mean Titanium Ted.
Imagine if there is an ass fumble recovery, which is allowed in the rules, and then the ball ignited on ass impact!
Then right there on live TV in a game, everybody would be subject to seeing ![]()
hot ass balls.
Ahhhhh! Somebody stop the madness of the off-season now!
Or have fewer games. With only 9 teams, there’s a lot of unimportant games throughout an 18 game schedule. Less is more in this case. Make each game matter more by reducing the total.
You can still start in June and finish earlier (I would say around Halloween would be an ideal end date)
guess it depends on whether it is the journey or the destination you like best.
As one who likes WATCHING football, no game is unimportant
The objection that would seem to end that idea is a financial one. Fewer games means less revenue.
yea keep the number of games and just start season sooner in May
just gotta wonder how many cfl fans will still be watching and attending NHL playoffs
why?
they could still be watching hockey instead of attending early season cfl games
I would be more likely to watch playoff hockey over early cfl games if there was a conflict and I cared about any of the teams still playing hockey. Way things are going this season, that would probably not be a problem
PVR is still a thing
yup, but doesnt help attendance and I believe there are also a few people who still dont have pvr for one reason or another
Coach gets to throw a ball at the ref’s groin if his challenge overturns the call on the field.
