(A) DL James Vaughters-Wpg BBs signed. Good player but we are taking some NI hits that’s for sure.
Ford to Hammy. That’s a good fit since they lost Powel. Perhaps BLM can teach the kid? Figured Ford might end up in the Peg.
Big time
Miller played really well in limited action. He’s 26. South of the border passport but lots of upside and probably came pretty cheap. For those of you whom know better than me, is he redundant to CJ Avery who is still an option for us?
Lauther released prior to his bonus. Not shocked. If his back has finally healed i wouldn’t be surprised if we resign him to compete in camp.
Alford is a mystery.
This guy also looks like a contender for Allen’s spot.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American linebacker Vi Jones.
The six-foot-two, 225-pound Jones signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and appeared in three games as a rookie. Picked up $1m while bouncing around the NFL since then. If he didn’t have some skills he wouldn’t have made that. We’ll see how well he transitions to the 3dn game.
I dunno. The posts that Lauther and the team sent out today suggest his time in green and white has come to an end.
I don’t think you can blindly trust Hughes, though. I say bring in Michael Domagala (OTT) and Alfredo Gachuz Lozada (TOR) for competition. Both have been around the league for a few years now and suited up for their home countries’ national team late last year.
Some complaints that the team cut him just before his bonus was due. I think his bonus was last years playoff money and a GC ring. Most Pro teams wouldn’t have rode it out that long with him.
Couple parallels with him and Farjardo. Both should have been six gamed. Both got pregnant in their final year. Both played with injuries and both lost their jobs because they didn’t sit.
Have we lost any offensive lineman since the off-season? Or did this unit stay intact?
The only free agents re-upped are Jacob Brammer and Yoshi. Unsigned include Trevon Tate, Sean McEwan, Philippe Gagnon, Braydon Noll, and Noah Zerr.
Bomber Junkie are you spying on my teams roster??!! (Thank you)
And everyone that was on the PR who automatically became FAs at the end of the season. Two of whom are Washington and Anderson, (both signed). Not sure who else was on the PR list (could look it up) but do know that a few were on injury lists so they didn’t automatically become FAs.
There’s only so long I can hold my breath while spying on The Gangreen Gang ![]()
You sure it’s the green guys that are roting away? ![]()
Whatever it is, it is strange and unpleasant.
Just keep your fricken meat hooks off our roster lol.
Comon you love us admit it.
It’ll take more than Willie Jefferson, Weston Dressler, and Nic Demski to catch me wearing green on a Riders game day.
Do you have access to a good rodent like helper of phycological blocks. They can really help you get over to the green side of life… it won’t even hurt. The only known side effect is hatred to the number 13 and an uncontrolable fear to crossbars and field goal uprights. Mostly during playoff time though.
(A) Tyrie Cleveland added as a WR. Of note, also did some KR duty in NFL. Signed another kicker, (A) Jonathan Kim, Straight out of college.
Anybody notice that we released (A) Marcus Major Jr.? Just signed him in December but then was drafted by the feeder league. Wondered if this would be the outcome.
With the extension of Hardrick and Brammer our starting OL remains intact. The only exception is at LG, which was basically a revolving door all season. We’ve still got some depth to extend.
Looking back at last year’s position/depth charts we were really lucky with respects to OL injuries (compared to the previous few seasons). The most notable injuries were at LT, and luckily we had decent depth there – Washington and Johnson.
