Yes, by clicking on the “A” on the top left I can alternate between the ugly style DOS font and the normal font.
However, what I noticed was that the normal font from just reading messages has slightly changed for me. It’s still fine and perfectly readable.
I was just trying to figure out if GG was tweaking something or if I changed it myself by clicking on something by accident.
you can change your own font size in your own preferences - interface tab:
also it’s working fine on my iphone and desktop and there is no “DOS” font (i think you mean a monospace system font lol). both markup view and wysiwyg composer view with quotes are normal and looks the same (desktop and mobile).
also i’m not getting paid for this and in fact it’s costing me bundles of time and money. stop complaining about petty sh*t ok. this forum is literally days old and i’m cranky.
Well I’m not really the complainer type, I was simply asking a question if anybody else noticed a weird change in their font. I had to make a comparison so I know if I personally screwed up something on my end.
As far as critiquing your work, hell no, I’ve already sung your praises multiple times since the new Forums inception.
Without you and the new Forum you built for us, we would all probably be arguing with our wives about what to watch on Netflix.

btw you guys have been awesome for the most part - i thought there would be more hand-holding and sign up pain. i guess the most difficult thing has been getting the out-of-the box default cloud install to how it was before, and it’s not quite the same as the hosted configuration that the forum was on before. thanks for your patience people.

Being tech support over the years for family and friends was kind of fun when I got to do cool stuff like build a new high-end gaming PC for somebody.
However, I’ve almost thrown my phone into the wall when somebody calls me, and then asks me how to Bookmark a website in their browser.
i can’t even remember what the old forum’s default font was but i think the current one is pretty close now.
i have loosened some of the new default sign-up and new user settings that are designed to help prevent spam accounts and I have enabled an AI spam bot which will usually catch spam before it shows up on the forum. Sorry mods you’re all being replaced /s.
btw, you can opt of the chat and channels functions by going to your preferences chat tab and disabling the main setting (there are other things you can configure if you want to use chat and channels).
