Ufl 2026

Fox has car races all day and ESPN packed their schedules with softball and Wrestlemania for some reason. Unless you want another game on NFLN or an app there were no available tv slots today.

Well @Laxtreme56 we know you have some influence and powers, including when you go play hot padel on Friday nights, so fix it for next season!

You are correct that we do not want more games than already on any channels by Dogshit Sports and Friends.

ESPN sucks anyway, so there is no hope for them, but work on Fox for next year.

A nice chart of TV ratings numbers for this league would be nice, leaving out understandably perhaps the NFL Network.

For the attendance numbers, I am picking up a lot of bullshit, as in a vast disparity between tickets given away or sold and who actually shows up, so I don’t trust them anyway.

We can see like we saw on Friday night in Columbus with the lower bowl perhaps 40% full at best and the upper bowl empty, as of course TV tries to avoid crowd shots.

I agree how many tickets are give away ?

If I had to guess, between 10-20%. It also depends on the definition of free. When the local Coca-Cola distributor sponsors the Stallions they may receive 50-75 tickets per game as part of their sponsorship package. Now they may be free for the employee and their family to attend but in reality the tickets were paid by sponsorship $$. My grandfather company used to have a suite at Madison Square Garden. For a Rangers game or the circus it was luck of the draw getting a seat into their prestigious box. However, when we went to see WWF during their dark days in the early 90s we had the entire suite to ourselves.

Your grandfather was a smart man, I am also a Rangers fan. I think it’s all about optics. If there are very few fans in the stadium, then it’s not the place to be , as my daughters once said .

Tuesday night games and Thursday night games are bullshit. STOP THEM next year!

I grew up a Devils fan during the Scott Steven’s era. Even went to the 2000 Stanley Cup game 3 against Dallas since tickets were surprisingly cheap for the old Continental Airlines Arena. Somewhere after one of the strikes I stopped watching and its probably been 15 years since I watched more than 1 period of hockey. I do plan on attending our new ECHL team in Trenton home opener next fall and support the local team.

Now this is kind of fascinating.

I am likely not unique, but I work or have driven all around near Trenton but not ever into Trenton, which I hear is nothing special as otherwise the capital of New Jersey, including for current work on the other side of the river here in PA as well as yesterday in the areas to the north near Raritan. I’m headed further north into Essex County next week.

Well I hope your drive there goes well, because driving in New Jersey SUCKS!

So today we also learned that you are actually “Puddy” of Seinfeld fame, whose legend lives on?

I have to cheer for the Rangers because unfortunately we (Toronto) don’t have an NH L team

Wow I was away from the internet for 1 day and the UFL blew up!

  • The Kings traded Jason “String” Bean to the DC Defenders in exchange for QB Mike DiLiello. Larsen is also reporting that Chandler Rogers will be the starter for Louisville moving forward. He got a drive or two in Week 2 and did OK.

  • The Orlando Storm trade QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson to the Birmingham Stallions in exchange for QB Matt Corral and DE Amani Bledsoe.

  • The Louisville Kings have released former NFL RB Benny Snell today

  • Stallions DL Perrion Winfrey posting this tweet, and then deactivated his twitter account. It later came out that he was “cut” from the team. Not sure if thats just the team trying to save face though.

I think that’s all the big news

Benny Snell might be the biggest disappointment of the year. I agree with the move but he’s a fan favorite in Lousiville so hope that doesnt sour the fan base.

Well his stats so far this season sure don’t justify being a “fan favourite”

corral is useless and should be out of the league

I can’t say that I understand most of these trades and cuts.

Why would DC want Jason “String” Bean?

Why would Orlando, top of the league, want Matt Corral?

Why would Birmingham trade away their top defensive lineman to Orlando?

I’m not sure how UFL contracts work such that when a player is traded, how long are their rights with their new team? Just for the rest of the season?

I smell a rat here.

Over to you MIKE REPOLE!

You know what happens when you listen to the fans as either a coach or GM, don’t you?

Anyway, this news is two weeks after all the talking up about Snell during the game by those bojacks at Fox, when he was in the game more due to an injury to the starter.

I wish they’d stop with the manufactured hype about any given “instant star” during games until a player pulls off some amazing play, as did Keke Chism as one example who did earn all the accolades.

Anybody remember Fan-Controlled Football?

Oh, I think I hear only one person faintly but not clearly in the back, so never mind.

We’ll see how these “trades” play out, but this league smells now more like “Owner-Controlled Football” than a real league.
