So they keep listing Maier’s record as being 1-1 with the riders last year. He was leading when he was pulled in the loss. Should it be done like baseball and the L charged to the reliever? The starter gets the win when somebody comes in late for mop up but this was more than a quarter in a tight game.

Suppose that depends on how many players are on rookie contracts. All we can do is guess without looking at every teams position spending.
That lack of transparency is what really irks me as a fan. It’s very WHA of them.
I know that the Riders set aside a certain amount for every position group and try to adhere to that rather attempt to manage the entire budget. It would have to be easier to just tinker with the Oline budget for example as the season progresses? Wonder if every team takes that appoach?

Aye ahoy ye matey. We have Olympic hockey right now, then some more NHL for the best part of the season, and some of us watch some soccer, but indeed, we have to support each other at this time of year.
Usually hibernating in a heated place thankfully, but the air is stuffy and then some, it’s just not the same until we keep those windows open and without that fresh smell of the turf some time in May, right?
But at least nowadays there is literally more of interest via TV than one can possibly watch, so WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

that is only because the NFL haven’t announce the date and time of the first game yet. i will have the countdown timer on my workspace as soon as they do 
i think the date is supposed to be Sept 9, 2026, but i don’t know what time the first game is. i think some games are in Melbourne that week too.
