I’m definitely sour about losing Carney but I won’t miss him for 270k a year.
Ed Hervey has proven he will overpay to buy talent because he’s not capable of drafting or prospecting for it. Plus he has a rep for treating players disrespectfully.

He came to SSK for better money and left for the same reason – I have no problem with that. His threat however was a little classless.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. Follow the money you’ve got maybe three years to do it.
Just don’t passively make It sound like the team you found your success with (important coaching and culture) didn’t want you. The guy that pays big bucks for what he can’t develop himself was willing to pay more. Just say that.

I did the math. 200 days from the Grey Cup to opening kickoff. We have 102 days left. Tuesday is halfway there.

Been binge watching the 2025 season myself. If you’re interested, this guy’s YouTube channel is great! He’s a Bombers fan (nobody’s perfect 
) but he posts all CFL games – with commercials edited out.

Raffling off spots to season ticket holders.
They really need to hold back a corner for the out of town single game crowd! There are many many fans who make a long trip and being able to pull in with a camper etc would be the perfect setup.

My memory of how Edmonton did it was of you were from out of town you could join in and there were some vendors you could buy from. Not quite the same but better than nothing.
