Wanted to go to the pre-game party in Calgary against the Stamps. Cops shut down the LRT because of some crap happening there so my pre-game was stuck sitting in an LRT car with no way off. The crowd was 50-50 on the train. Didn’t notice any burgers or beers being passed around lol.

I love rider away games in Edmonton and Bc, never been to a Calgary game but I hear it’s even more green! BC really isn’t that much green but it’s pretty impressive still.
I don’t know about you all, but less than 100 days left, and I am already eager to find out what TSN changes for their production.
Of course we’ll probably have a new TSN production thread as well, which usually contains some repeat favourite rants of the past and commentary gold!
Some of the things I do NOT want to see in 2026 or ever again via TSN:
- AI Slop
- Giggly halftime show with frequent cackling
- Interviews during the damn game
- Sideline report talking over a play in progress
It should be interesting who will be new on the play-by-play, if anybody.
And who this year will be tasked with keeping Duane Forde awake, maybe even getting him to laugh once or twice, or making sure that Glen Suitor will shut up at key times?
I still want Rod Black back, for often he was like a miscast game show host tasked with covering a sporting event, but it was strangely compelling live TV!

Want to see Glen interview Luke in game or versa visa when the returners all stand there watching and hoping that a punt bounces through the endzone! They could do a second by secound play by play account!
Luke: “I think it will make the red line, what do you think Glen?”
Glen: “I really hope not, please let there be a rouge!”
Luke: “get over it!. You’ll ruin the moment!”
Glen: For the first time in his life is speachless.

No doubt there is so much room to develop around Luke’s expert commentary and his pornstache too, of course.
We the viewers can only hope to be ambushed by the Pornstache Trio commenting on set on the sidelines, consisting of Luke Willson, Ron Jeremy, and Ron Burgundy, starting in the pre-game on a summer day.

i think preseason starts 3 weeks earlier, although there is only one game in preseason first week.
Good so I can fixate on 84 days but get a nice surprise when camp and preseason starts 4-5 weeks before that. Not so bad…

Week 1 of the season kind of sucks with 3 teams on a bye week. Then we match up week 2 which should be a great first game for both BC and SK!
