I thankfully am not the guy on any football team that is responsible for finding signing and keeping talent. Us fans are so unforgiving, there are still fans in Saskatchean that want to fire our guy in charge and he got us s Grey Cup 
but yea, the guy in Edmonton is under the microscope for sure

Very true! Fans on all teams are likely rather unforgiving. Organizations know that. Awhile back, our president Chris Morris was interviewed and he said fans in our city sure donāt like losing. He does hope we are not going to abandon the team. He feels the team is close to turning things around. I hope heās right as this has been a long haul to get back to the winning ways of the past. Our fan experience though has changed for the better. They have had so much more it seems going on for fans and families to have fun. This past season they even upgraded our season tickets for a game to try the loge seating. We took some other family as well and had a great time.

A lot of that was because of management. We were at one point the model for the league but lost our way when it came to player development.
I find that to be a big problem in that we used to develop talent. Everyone seems to forget that guys like Moon and Dunnigan, Ham, Damon Allen, and even Ricky Ray went through a development cycle.
We suddenly seem to think throwing some guy on the field to sink or swim is the way to go.

I have always said you need competition at camp, whatever form that takes.
There were really only about 4 guys I remember who didnāt. I think their names are all up on the wall of honour, and on the GC more than once or twice.

It nice to see the Elks have improved in many areas on their report card. Itās disturbing though that a serious allegation is mentioned that both injured and non-injured players didnāt receive enough treatment. Overall though theyāve come up to a B- and were a D- last year.
