I’m not much of an ice fisherman but I’ll do the ice plunge with you Paolo

If the cost of winning is injecting my penis, I don’t want to win that badly.

There’s already a pill that helps with performance.

Looks kinda lonely doesn’t it?

As the world comes together for #MilanoCortina2026, a united nation stands with you, @TeamCanada – cheering every triumph and every moment you carry the maple leaf close to your heart. 🇨🇦 https://t.co/HjEuVACR59 pic.twitter.com/skFPgMwFfa

Could there be a second postponed game for the Canadian women’s team?

It’s one player isolated and no longer showing symptoms so the game should happen.

But stil…if it doesn’t at what point is Canada better off taking the forfeit win? A compressed schedule is not good either

What a shit-show. This is bad enough after the hole in the rink and various other construction and logistical quirks, so now I wonder what else will go wrong?

Oh what a genuine and heart felt statement! never overlook a chance to make things political.

So wonderful to see the raw emotion from Valerie Maltais as she receives her bronze medal.

At her fifth Olympics, 16 years after her debut, she wins her first individual medal.

What a moment for her. pic.twitter.com/G6RhuFwg11

And if he says nothing he gets roasted for not being supportive

IMHO there was nothing political with what he said,
If he wanted it to be political
He should/would invest a portion of Sports betting in Canada go towards supporting
Canadian Olympic athletes and programs

As if PP would have said anything different if he were PM?

He would be cheering for USA
He will never be PM
But
He may be a Governor/Senator :united_states:

Would this discussion not fit better in The Lounge

“In a more divided and uncertain world”. I suppose you could take that differently. I happen to entirely distract the man and I’d put money on it his team suggested the comment as an opportunity “but let’s not go too polictal. If I’m being fully honest I would expect any other leader would do the same. Sorry, I just can’t stand any of these guys

Agreed. See my later comment. Pp would have been more overt.

Yep. I apologize as I started it and I’m the first to get frustrated by that on other threads.

Canada tops the Swiss 4-0 to win their delayed opener.

Canada out shoots the Swiss 55-6, had 3 PP gls and a 3rd period even strength gl. Hopefully Canada’s 5 v 5 play improves as the competition gets tougher, hats off to the Swiss goalie, certainly not Swiss cheese today.
