Still waiting on Bo’s financials.
I predict Ravenberg is next.

Either him or Katsantonis. Woodmansey, Barrow, Bordner, Wooden, and Talbert also necessary IMO. But Goose and Rev are the same type of ”statement” signings as Bo and Peters.
I certainly hope so . Now that we got BO for another two seasons we need to keep him protected .
Bo said in his posted interview today on the TSN website and on 3DOWN that his new contract is similar in compensation to Harris’ new deal ( 450k plus incentives).
The part I’m interested in is how much of it is a signing bonus that won’t count against the 2026 cap?
How close to the 2025 cap were the Tiger-Cats projected to be?
We won’t know for sure until the week before the draft when those numbers are released, but each team was given an extra 400k in February that they didn’t use during free agency. So I think many of these big early signings around the league involved some of this extra money.
Wasn’t there a grievance because teams were also using it to have so many guys on 1 game IL for “load management”?
1 game injured guys still count against the Cap.
The controversy involved teams artificially protecting guys from going on the practice roster or being cut with the “ load Management” designation.
Yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying. They used the extra money to pay guys on the 1 game IL instead of that money going to active roster players.
I’m still curious if Bo got a substantial signing bonus. That kind of info usually leaks by now.
Agreed. When he says it’s in the ball park of Harris’ deal how much higher or lower that would mean. I wouldn’t be surprised if he would say that even upwards of like $550K
Who said it was in the ballpark of the Harris deal? I missed that.
BLM said something to the effect of “I’m right next to Trevor (Harris)” when JC Abbott asked him about what kind of deal he got. The wording did make it seem like it was a tight window of potential salary around what Harris just got.
Montreal just released Sankey. Cats should be in on him as far as I’m concerned.
I agree, but it’s also weird that I could see him going to Ottawa or Toronto too. I don’t think he’ll lack for suitors.
I mentioned this on the other thread as well. I like Veresuk but at this stage in his career he is nowhere near what Sankey could bring to the table, Canadian ratio be damned. Figure that stuff out later. The same thinking that brings in Kenny Lawler over Dunbar or considering signing Oliveira over Bell should prevail.
Veresuk has had four tryouts down south and Braxton Hill just had his second. Possibility that we could lose one of these guys regardless before the start of camp and behind the 8 ball like in 2023 when Williams retired.
I agree you bring in Sankey at all costs
Sankey is a game changer. Sign him & worry about the ratio later.
I agree they should consider all options but the ratio absolutely needs to be considered. If you go with Sankey over Veresuk that makes the run defense a lot better but if that means you have to play TT instead of a 3rd American WR is that better than second year Veresuk at MLB and a legit 3rd American WR? Possibly, because Kiondre Smith is a ratio breaker as the second option on this offense, but these are the questions that should be asked rather than looking at Sankey>>Veresuk in a vacuum.
Have you watched Als games? Sankey was making tackles 7-8 yards down the field. One of the biggest reasons, the Als let him go. Plus GCA is better and if they can resign Richards they’re golden.
