cant cheer for everyone. These teams kept beating teams I cheer for. Got tired of them.
You are sour on the whole deal of pros even playing in the Olympics, we know, we know, but if both the NHL and the players and most fans I know are happy with the deal despite the shutdown, which is a fine point otherwise, oh well have at it.
If the NHL truly did not want to do it, they would not, so Iām not buying any of that crap about having to make a reluctant deal either.
Wow, have you forgotten the 4 Nations Face-Off they had in 2025 already, as if this reality was not all part of a strategic plan by also the NHL beyond any CBA considerations?
Sure you might not like what is being done via the Olympics on principle, but itās not being done for merely your cherry-picked facts as you stay bitter about it all, which is fine we get it, for itās not for all NHL fans either.
Take the three weeks off maybe next time and no worries, hockey will be back and intact.
Iām not sour on it, just donāt care for it and i realize iām likely in the minority and thatās ok. The 4 Nations Cup took only 1 week and was held when the NHL usually holds the all star week so nothing was affected. I can just imagine the NBA and MLB shutting down for 3 weeks, wouldnāt happen. Iāll disagree that the NHL wants to do it, i think they wanted labour peace and not risk a strike or lockout, they got what they wanted which was a CBA extension. If the NHL goes to every Olympics until iām dead and buried i wonāt lose any sleep over it, life goes on.

Another fun loss for the Jets last night, at the hands of the Mighty Duhks. Wpg. salvaged a loser point - which is great for the organization as it frantically struggles to avoid finishing bottom 5 and being forced to pick Top 5 (or higher) in the draft.
Thereās an old adage in hockey - the softest teams are usually the easiest to beat. HAIL JETS!

Todays games have start times of 10:30am , 1,2,3,4,5, 6 and 8pm. The NFL doesnāt do this crap.

Itās going to take the Nucks a lot more than 2 or 3 yrs to rebuild, you only need look at the Sabres, Wings, Hawks etc to see how long. It looks like the Sabres are going to make the playoffs this season, will be the first time in 14 yrs, the Wings are in a playoff spot now but arenāt guaranteed and theyāve been waiting for 10 yrs, the Hawks? Who knows but itās going to be more hurt for them.
