Ok we can’t keep using CFL for obvious reasons (we’re not affiliated with the league in any way). So we need a new name and logo. I used Gridiron Football Canada when I set this forum up only because I didn’t have time to ponder much else.
So let’s start an ideas topic here. Of course we want to focus on gridiron football (i use the term gridiron only because global search engines and fans somehow think it’s soccer - go figure!). We definitely don’t need to have gridiron in the name though!

Why not? We’re not pretending to be the official CFL site. But if you don’t want it in the title, then “An Unofficial Fan Forum for Three-Down Football” or something like that.
While the Canadian Football League is copyrighted, wouldn’t just plain Canadian Football be OK? We also have discussions about Canadian football at other levels.
How about something along the lines of Canadian Football Message Board?
I chuckled at this, but “eh” is regional in Canada, not universal like so many Americans think. I prefer your “Canadian Football Exchange” suggestion. Though it does sound a bit like a stock exchange for football LMAO
I don’t see why we can’t have CFL in the name and think we should. Our title could be as simple as “CFL Fan Forum”. We are not pretending to be CFL affiliated and of course can’t do that. Even on the old forum there was no CFL oversight for several years. I can’t see how the CFL can stop us or be upset just by naming their league. No different than an NFL or NHL or PGA Tour fan forum. I would suggest that legally we lose the official logo when the time comes. That might be considered representing ourselves as CFL affiliated.
