UFL week 5

These announcers are bored too. And …another offside penalty.

Alright, I’m done with this shit tonight.

Sorry Fox and not sorry you fanboys, this is not going to continue next season at this rate.

They’ll have to relaunch again in new markets.

It’s been long enough in shitty Birmingham too. Repole should have left.

8,120 in announced attendance.

I guess they’re including tickets they threw away in garbage cans.

Season ticket member no-shows as well. If I had to guess, 6k sold, 2k more comped and 5.5k in attendance. I think OKC is the model going forward. 10kish seat stadiums that should be 75%+ filled most games. If they can’t make that happen then perhaps its time to call it a day

Repole has gone on record they’re not relocating anyone next year. Honestly, if they do then I might just tap out at that point and stick with the Premeir Padel League as my source of sports entertainment.

Hey @Stickweld21 Stickman you fanboy you, did you read that?

No, there will NOT be content on prime time television with empty stadiums like in 2022 ya varmint!

Then he’s a business idiot. Thankfully he does not have the only say or any say in what is aired and when it is aired on TV, though he might believe that too no doubt.

He might not have the final say but Gerry Cardinale and Eric Shanks gave him full reigns of business ops. They may corral him in if needed, but its basically the Repole football leagie now.

Checking in from Orlando. Go Battlehawks! Ka-kaw

This is the opposite of BMO Field. The stands behind the camera and out of view are all covered with tarp.

I was guessing 6,000 to be generous

Wow - practically on the field!

Here in Orlando I’m thinking 9-10k. Its been a fun, loud crowd thus far.

As expected, when the Storm had to play a non-expansion team they folded like a cheap suit. Still don’t understand the baffling decision by Prohel to punt again instead of just assessing the 5 yard penalty for the defensive offsides. That led to a blocked punt which turned the momentum of the game.

@Laxtreme56 That’s a nice shirt for the Battlehawks too. I am proud of you for supporting the right team and not getting caught up with those local bojacks in Orlando.

this league is totally bush man. the espn thing is stupid, the play quality is generally terrible, and the whole thing looks fixed. repole is a tool and i’m probably tapping out.

Not really understanding where you’re coming from. Battlehawks dominated Repole team last night. Can’t say much about ESPN since I was at the game but the crowd was into it, football generally decent, and Repole while somewhat cringe has the passion all these listless spring leagues have needed. Id say he has the best vision since Canadian visionary John Bassett with the original USFL. I’m predicting a DC-Dallas United Bowl in front of 19k at Rowdy Audi Field.

if they want people to watch their crappy football they should let people watch it.

repole isn’t a visionary, he’s a modern day herb tarlek. he’s just missing the yellow checked suit.

seriously, every time i think the football is getting better, it starts to get worse. the attendance is pretty much all lies.

i love football but this ufl season feels nonsensical
