Nous étions tous de même à la final de la coupe Grey la dernière saison
If Maciocia doesn’t get his ass in gear soon and start signing quality free agents, the first ever “Fire Danny Maciocia” thread will be started on this forum!
This is what I think people forget. Most years, teams that make it to the final four – and particularly teams that competed for the Grey Cup – are not going to make the kind of sweeping changes other teams are making, because they had on-field success. You only blow things up and sign a bunch of free agents if things didn’t work the year before.
Now, having said that, we have some pretty serious needs at receiver and defensive line that Maciocia & co. have to address. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Training camp is still a long way off.

Merci et félicitations pour ta carrière avec les Alouettes et bonne chance pour le futur.
Merci de l’explication.
I wonder if Global DL Jonathan Kingsley is free? Could be a good addition.
If Danny cannot sign Gittens Jr., might as well wait for the draft for a National receiver.
Richard
He’s with the Jets, poor guy.
The problem is we pick 8th. Not sure how deep the receiver pool is in this draft, maybe we get lucky. The scouting bureau’s Top 20 only has two WR on their list. But whoever it is will be a project.
Will our luck, Gittens Jr. may return to Toronto.
Maybe not up to date, but in the recent Jets roster I think that Jonathan Kingsley does not appear,Sheldon.
Richard
Ça prendrait minimalement la signature d’un receveur étoile (Gittens Jr?) et d’un plaqueur de ligne étoile la semaine prochaine. Si Maciocia peut trouver ça, nous serons en affaire.
He’s Kingsley Jonathan, Richard and he’s here.
As for Gittens Jr. there will likely be a bidding war which DM won’t get into.
Thank you,Sheldon.
Richard
You guys don’t really need one, wait until the draft.
Well, we could always trade up. But also, we drafted GCA 9th overall in 2024 and that worked out pretty well for us.

Je crois que les Alouettes pourraient trouver un receveur de qualité au 8 rang, si c’est leur plan pour le repêchage.

Le maire de Montréal!!! On se calme! Eh la la!
C’est le titre de l’article, un journaliste enthousiasme.
I am still puzzled that there has been no news on N WR Gittens Jr. of Edmonton. A few teams, including the Alouettes, must be interested; I wonder if there could have been an agreement with the Alouettes, but they requested a period of a few days before making the announcement.
I am also surprised that there not seems to be an interest for Rambo. I still hope that Danny will re-sign him.
Richard
I think it is time for player’s contracts to be made public Might be just my perception but I seems to me there is a growing gap between team spending.
