Could be. Maybe the ratio answer we were looking for was there all along.
Ultimately, I would anticipate he will be nominal starter and then one of Morrow, Rountree, or Watts will mix in heavily via using Lawler as the Designated Nationalized American.
You have to understand, good teams rotate their Dlinemen constantly. The Giants had Strahan, Umenyiora, Tuck, Kwainuka all rotating at DE. Same as in the CFL, you need about 8 Dlineman.
That’s what Saskie did last season. I think I had heard on one of the broadcasts they dress up to 9 Dlinemen and they constantly rotate guys in and out during the course of the game. It was very effective for them. Their front four was an absolute wagon.
Strahan was a Hall of Famer and Umenyiora and Tuck were 2 time all-pro. This is very different than J-Min Pelley and Franklin Ibelo. You have to see the difference there.
I don’t have a problem with the team bringing in a high ceiling guy and having some fun with him (short yardage, Red zone package, etc). But it has to be managed the right way. I have faith in Milanovich to manage the situation but make no mistake this will become a circus the first time Bo struggles.
There is a big difference between Bo a multiple Grey Cup and MOP winner and Tre Ford. Ford has some positives but he cant throw accurately. I just think why spend money on a QB with little upside when you need to improve in many other areas. Dolegala is ou best back up on the roster IMO. Its just my opinion ad nobody likes my opinion but there it is
Well being a Saints fan in the NFL my hope is that Milo somehow turns Ford into our very own version of Taysome Hill . Really no reason why we can’t do it to be honest . We could put Ford all over the offence in multiple formations and packages in different positions that we could definitely if used properly could be very effective .
Exactly! Remember when we wrote off Anthony Calvillo and he went to Montreal and became a hall of fame. Not saying Ford is Calvillo, but it does happen.
