Xavier Malone looks familiar, where have I seen this before?

Brisset to Calgary.

Brissett to cgy on 2 year

McMahon rb to cgy

So with the re-signing of Bruggeling that now leaves only 5 of our own FA’s left unsigned in

B O-O (wr) (cdn)

Shemar Bridges (wr) (amr)

Lawrence Woods - kr (amr)

Trevor Hoyte - lb (cdn)

Patrick Burke - db (cdn)

Honestly the only two I want to see re-signed are B O-O and Bridges . The other three are basically just spare parts .

I think BOO can be a full time starting receiver. Strange to me that he wasn’t already.

Smith and BOO and Lawler would be hard to cover at the same time.

CAL. Another team with a bad report card.

I hear Bob O’Billovich is looking to be a GM again just so he can get in on signing some Of our free agents.

Burke and Hoyte are fine to have back as they would likely play special teams. I don’t mind having spare part players on the roster that have experience and have been with the organization.

Agreed but out of the 5 players left I would consider them low priority as opposed to shoring up our lack of depth at the moment in the receiving department . Basically Hoyte and Burke can be signed at anytime as I’m pretty sure that there is not a lot of interest out there or demand for these type of players.

Don’t “bet” on it…

I’ll give you 3 to 1 odds that he winds up in either Ottawa or Edmonton . :money_mouth_face:

If they can sign Wynton McManis thats a win

Absolutely. They are not priority but if they come back, they know the role they have as depth pieces and their main priority is to contribute to Specials.

He’s not even a Timmy Chang

Speaking of QB write offs..if you think giving up on Powell is a mistake say it now. It won’t be taken seriously later.

You just wait to see what Powell does in Edmonton playing behind our old O-Line from Hamilton . You’ll see , just mark my words and watch . Next thing you’re going to be telling me is that Ed Hervey doesn’t know what he’s doing . Just remember and bookmark where you heard it first .

Ford is a better runner than Calvillo or Chang . Coach Milo will work on his reads and accuracy . A 3 year contract may show a lot of confidence in him as a QB or perhaps a position switch to receiver/ RB . If Ford comes in on third and short , the defence won’t have a clue

McManis must be playing hard to get… perhaps aiming to be the highest paid defensive player in the League???
