It would not surprise me if Roundtree, Watts or Marrow is the other RB that splits with Augustine.
It would surprise me if it wasn’t one of the 3 currently signed RBs. Though keep an eye out on the UFL waiver wire to see if Marcus Yarns gets released by Houston and might want to come back. James Robinson would obviously be an interesting comeback story too. Jalen White and Julius Davis are relative unknowns also on the neg list that could be brought to camp assuming they don’t get bites with NFL camps.
Schoen still out there
Rumor is he won’t be ready until the fall
Definitely intriguing, but after 2 torn ACLs, I think teams would be leary about signing him.
He had over 2600 receiving yards in his first couple of seasons, but has only played a total of 8 games in 2024 and 2025.
YUP, risky signing. White was signed as his replacement.
It’s only risky if you’re expecting more from him than he can give.
A veteran joining the lineup around labour day isn’t a bad thing if your expectations are low
Honestly I would be more interested in them signing Keric Wheatfall over Schoen . Still holding out hope though for a Bridges re-signing .
I think as Cat fans suffering through a 27 year Grey Cup drought, our expectations at this point should be pretty “high”. ![]()
Seriously though, I get what you’re saying, but Schoen would have to come in at a bargain price. I think if he gets one more serious injury, he might as well call it a career.
Sounds like McManis is 100% all in on being a Ti-Cat .
And I’m 100% a McManis fan!
Offence wins games

Is it true that he has signed with Hamilton? tyson middlemost
I certainly hope not.
I think you guys are reading too much into this. Every FA who has not been actively released is still on the team until FA officially starts. I think Woods finished the season on the IL so he can’t be cut.
That’s more to do with teams not playing them. Chris Ike was drafted to play fullback not halfback.
They may use him there but he was announced as a RB not FB at the draft. And that’s your opinion re: the teams not playing them. Another way to look at it is that they didn’t play them because they weren’t ready to contribute.
Good Canadians play.
I don’t follow you on this Crash. Why sign him if you don’t think he can make a big impact in the short term?
IMO every veteran signing should have the mentality that the player is ready to contribute and be an improvement right now. Especially if that happens when it comes down to crunch time for the play offs.
