:ticats: Ticats 2026

What I mean is like Lawler Kiondre an which ever FA we sign will be our top 3.. then we got 2 other recievers plus TT would give us our 6 recievers for the game is what I ment not that TT would be a top recievers

Where did you add Rountree?

Watts, and Frost added.

I know it’s not unusual to have 4 RBs and 3 QBs signed at this stage in the off-season, but this does ask questions about whether Bell and Powell will be back.

Maybe they are going cheap at RB and upgrading else where

It kinda looks like they might be heading that way. Bell would surely be due somewhere in the $150K+ range based on what Mills got. Maybe they figure one of Morrow, Rountree, or Watts can do 90% for less than half the price.

I mean he sits on the bench and collects a salary, at least Dolegala has a role on short yardage. You can compare boths ability to play backup with similar play time. Idk who is better but id say its pretty even.

We still have Augustine on the roster as well

Shane Watts was brought in last July for a look with the Cats. Must be something there they liked and possibly means they’re not confident in or wanting to sign Bell back.

Ticats have never struggled finding RBs.

Roundtree comes with a very strong pedigree and returned kicks in university.

I think he will be the guy.

My source says they were happy to get him done. People haven’t seen a lot of him, but he has a lot of upside

I would suspect that seals Powell’s fate.

Tell that source of yours it would be a good idea to resign a couple of their pending FA Olinemen. I’m sure BLM would welcome that.

I’m wondering if Powell’s camp is maybe suggesting a change of scenery for him.

If Powell were to stay in Hamilton, it would likely mean a 3rd straight season of him holding Bo’s I-Pad on the sidelines, and again not getting any meaningful play time.

It wouldn’t be the first time a potential heir apparent QB bails on the team when the Starter refuses to hang up the cleats.

Anybody remember Adrian McPherson giving up waiting on Calvillo to retire?

Every team has a #1 QB
Not sure if there is a better opportunity for Powell than backing up Bo
He knows that Milo likes him,
He knows the Milo playbook
IMHO
He would be wise to stay

Where would you suggest he go? BC to hold Rourke’s iPad? Calgary for Adams’s? Fajardo’s in Edmonton? Harris’s? Collaros’s? Kelly’s? Alexander’s? Brown’s? Wherever he goes he’s holding an iPad IMO, at least with Bo he’s kinda on the older side and he’s got Milanovich’s trust should anything happen to Bo.

Brown has shown himself to be pretty brittle in Ottawa. If I’m Powell, that’s the opportunity I target. More than likely he’ll see live bullets if he goes to Ottawa. That’s if he doesn’t re-up with Hamilton, which is probably the best situation for him.

Heres my thought…

Collaros is 1 concussion away from not playing anymore no matter what anyone says… Plus im sure he retires after this year. Im sure Harris’s body is saying retire after this year. So theres 2 possible spots. Dru Brown hes been injury prone during his career so there’s 3rd spot if he doesnt resign in Hamilton

Yeah I think Ottawa’s the best one of the bunch but I agree that Hamilton is still probably the best one.
