Maybe. I don’t know if I’m comfortable crowning him just yet. He was productive in the SEC sure, but that was 5 years ago, he had a disastrous Pro Day and he’s done next to nothing since. Maybe he beats out Watts, Morrow and Augustine, but let’s see how it plays out.
interesting, didn’t know about the pro day stuff…still got drafted though.
Indeed he did. But he hasn’t really done much since then. Not even in the UFL. Like obviously worth a look it’s not like he’s ancient, but we should temper our expectations a lil.

a little highlight pack
reminds me a bit of a guy we had a few years back who i really liked.
Can’t remember his name. Wes Hills? Wes Hillis?? or I am not close ![]()
Talbert back 2 more years.
Yes!! Talbert signing is big. I’d now bet we’re only going to get one of Moxey or Amos back, at best.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see neither back, TBH. They’re both on the wrong side of 30 and will have plenty of suitors in FA driving the price up. I think the team might look to go younger/cheaper and see what they have in Quavian White and Zamari Walton, in addition to the rookies they bring in.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today the team has signed American defensive back Gregory Junior.
Junior, 26, was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars and has appeared in 10 career NFL games, recording 17 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one pass defended. The 6-0, 203-pound native of Crossett, Arkansas spent the 2024 season on the practice squads of the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans, and competed with Houston, Green Bay, and Denver during the 2025 offseason. Collegiately, 43 games, 128 tackles (91 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, one interception, 17 passes defended.
Another guy like Kaleb Hayes that was such an impressive athlete coming out of school that he had several NFL teams sign him thinking they could make use of that athleticism. Played Div 2 ball but has good size and athleticism. Certainly worth a look.
Fun Fact: in May 2025 the Packers released Hayes to sign Junior and now they’ll be competing to potentially be teammates on the Ticats.
Same, but if I had to guess, I’d expect Amos back. HB is harder to play than CB for new guys. Not sure if there might be anyone in FA who would be an upgrade.
I always thought that we would get only one of them back from the beginning . My money by the way is on us re-signing Amos and letting Moxey walk .
Man white writing on yellow background is rough on the eyes. Black writing would’ve been easier to read and match the team colours better
No problem Pils I can change it that way thanks for suggestion
Glad to hear that. The team did well sticking by him. I remember the days clearly when the majority of forum members wanted him cut when he first started here.
Just some minor notes:
Added to Ticats Neg List recently:
Deslin Alexandre DL - Pits - added January 22nd 2026
Quincy Likio DL - San Jose State - January 26th 2026
