:ticats: Ticats 2026

Edwards went bonkers after the Cat’s lost in the playoffs. I distinctly remember Bobo not really holding back about his opinion about Edwards, and hoping that he never wears a Ti-Cat jersey again. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Don’t get me started on Chris Edwards .

Edwards did not take kindly to losing. I remember him chasing Banks around after the EF at the end of that game. Later on an idiotic and likely inebriated Cat fan was able to get on the ramp that the Argo players used to exit the stadium and tried to rub a bit of salt in the wound in front of Edwards. The aftermath of that Eastern final was a complete shitshow with John Murphy also famously getting into it with some Ticat fans.

Edwards also shoved Austin Mack I believe after a game in Hamilton in 2023 and again took a cheap shot at an ALS player in the ESF that same year. Something tells me he could use Buddhism in his life.

Yeah, players like this are undoubtedly a cancer in the locker room. Here is the very unsportsmanlike conduct by Edwards.

Who did that and who is the player please… curious. Thanks.

He’s talking about Trejan Bridges. This story here talks about the allegations.

Ratio wise we’ll be fine. I’m sure Bagnah/Hubert/Onyeka can take a spot at defensive end. If Dabrie stays healthy, their is reps at Defensive tackle being eaten up. Plus if Konga does fall to them, he could see reps as a rookie.

If Veresuk does come back from the NFL, I could see them possibly shifting McMannis to WLB and have Veresuk play the MLB. Veresuk also has the speed to play WLB.

Thanks Krisiun. That is deplorable. Do you recall who was considering having him here and for what season?

Last question on this topic then back to the thread, I promise…

They’ve actually signed him for this upcoming training camp.

So I guess we can’t pin this one on Hervey?:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Howsare and Ossai are locked in at DE
We are fine at DE horrible at DT

All star McManis not moving from the middle for Veresuk, we had a crap show in the middle last year and McManis fixes this.

Re: Veresuk that plan won’t be able to come into effect until the NFL cut down day in late August. I hope by then we have found a solution with respect to ratio and WLB that we won’t want to upset by plugging in a guy who will need some time to get up to speed. No matter how good he is, these guys coming up mid season always seem to need an adjustment period.

I would say ditto for Konga. He’s got the size and he’s coming off 3 productive years of power 4 football, I think he’ll be in NFL camp his first year.

I think overall the idea of those reps being found in DL rotation is probably the call. Howsare can be designated nationalized American for 25 plays so you’re looking at 25 plays between 2-3 Canadians being rotated through.

Yep that’s the point I was making. All front office do this. I think the incentives line up for them to really want to believe in redemption narratives.

Now in Bridges’ case he’s not going to need to rob anyone at gun point to get weed up here so maybe we’re safe. Maybe he just did a stupid thing because of peer pressure when he was young, paid his debt to society and genuinely has turned a new leaf. I’m open to giving guys second chances.

Veresuk for depth would be excellent.

I don’t think this year’s version of receivers is better than last seasons.

The ability to start 2-Nationals is this year’s edge. White to Gittens isn’t an upgrade

Don’t forget replacing 62 catches from our primary RB won’t be easily replaced either.
