:ticats: Ticats 2026

I’m actually really impressed with the way they are adapting the gameday experience, and most importantly, providing different options for the evolving fanbase moving forward.

Sure, there are some of us that are riveted in our seats and watch every single snap, but as we’ve seen over the years, the younger crowd is looking more for a “stadium experience”. That’s where the concourse crowd hangs, but if some of them want a more Premium experience, this new North Endzone might give them a Club Like experience without breaking the bank.

I really like the “forward thinking” here by the organization. :+1:

I moved my seats to the club seat zone. Seats a little bigger, aisles more leg room, no long lines for beer or washrooms, a place to cool off at halftime if needed.

Yes I bought the sell job….

If the team offered me $50 to sit in that Hanger I would probably turn it down.

For a fan like me, who actually likes to watch the game, it would be a horrible experience.

I LOVE the club though.

I agree.

I’ve been invited a few times with some buddies who prefer the concourse experience. I usually end up missing a lot of plays because too many people are yapping or telling you some story.

By half-time I’m usually back in my regular seat. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Two of the 5 writers in this CFL.ca article have picked us to win the cup in 2026.

Will the Grey Cup parade be in the morning or afternoon? I might need to take the day off work.

this confuses me… why resign him before FA but now release him.

This might be his choice. He might have seen 2 established guys ahead of him and figured he didn’t want to spend another year on the PR. He is 27 years old and was coaching before he came up here maybe he figures he wants to get started on his coaching career?

My thoughts exactly . You also have to consider that maybe he has been given an opportunity in the UFL as well ? Whatever the reason I wish the young man well in his future endeavours .

Frost signed before the team added our clear 2nd string QB.

Then with Jake D locked in as our short yardage 3rd string writing was on the wall.

Could be. It will be interesting to see if that materializes as UFL camps open this week. I’m not sure what the legality is with him having a contract in the CFL and a UFL team trying to poach him but I guess we’ll find out when UFL camps open on Monday.

This does open up the 4th QB spot for them to go with someone younger but no one on the Neg List is currently available. We’ll see what happens with 2026 NFL draft class guys like Castellanos, Strand, Shapen, and Daniels; as well as guys going to UFL camps like Bachmeier, Reed, and Martinez. Could even take a look at Christian Veilleux in the draft. I’m not sure how PR spots work for QBs but I think it would still be a minor benefit to have him there.

We weren’t sure if we would land Ford. BC was in the running for him as well.

I predict Ford’s twin brother becomes a Ticat in 2027.

I agree Ford was the wild card.

I get it’s mostly hype and marketing, but if you buy in to all the team’s media posts and interviews involving Ford, you would think we signed Doug Flutie.

I hope Ford only plays the last 5 minutes of each blowout win this year and maybe the occasional QB package to shake things up.

I have my doubts that he will be successfully groomed to take over this team for the future.

I hope I’m wrong and he wins us 3 cups.

But Niagara Falls season ticket subscriptions are through the roof

dont forget we also have the 4th QB as the intern as teams have every year at camp as well which does not cost us anything

True but they’re not actually on the team during the season they’re just there for camp.
