I’m actually really impressed with the way they are adapting the gameday experience, and most importantly, providing different options for the evolving fanbase moving forward.
Sure, there are some of us that are riveted in our seats and watch every single snap, but as we’ve seen over the years, the younger crowd is looking more for a “stadium experience”. That’s where the concourse crowd hangs, but if some of them want a more Premium experience, this new North Endzone might give them a Club Like experience without breaking the bank.
I really like the “forward thinking” here by the organization.
I moved my seats to the club seat zone. Seats a little bigger, aisles more leg room, no long lines for beer or washrooms, a place to cool off at halftime if needed.
I’ve been invited a few times with some buddies who prefer the concourse experience. I usually end up missing a lot of plays because too many people are yapping or telling you some story.
This might be his choice. He might have seen 2 established guys ahead of him and figured he didn’t want to spend another year on the PR. He is 27 years old and was coaching before he came up here maybe he figures he wants to get started on his coaching career?
My thoughts exactly . You also have to consider that maybe he has been given an opportunity in the UFL as well ? Whatever the reason I wish the young man well in his future endeavours .
Could be. It will be interesting to see if that materializes as UFL camps open this week. I’m not sure what the legality is with him having a contract in the CFL and a UFL team trying to poach him but I guess we’ll find out when UFL camps open on Monday.
This does open up the 4th QB spot for them to go with someone younger but no one on the Neg List is currently available. We’ll see what happens with 2026 NFL draft class guys like Castellanos, Strand, Shapen, and Daniels; as well as guys going to UFL camps like Bachmeier, Reed, and Martinez. Could even take a look at Christian Veilleux in the draft. I’m not sure how PR spots work for QBs but I think it would still be a minor benefit to have him there.
I get it’s mostly hype and marketing, but if you buy in to all the team’s media posts and interviews involving Ford, you would think we signed Doug Flutie.
I hope Ford only plays the last 5 minutes of each blowout win this year and maybe the occasional QB package to shake things up.
I have my doubts that he will be successfully groomed to take over this team for the future.
